Call For Papers

Formatting instructions

Submissions must include the authors' names, affiliations and addresses, a 200-word abstract, and 3 to 6 keywords identifying the subject area. Full papers exceeding 8 pages and short papers exceeding 4 pages will not be reviewed. A paper should not be submitted to more than one of the conferences in ACSW. Submitted papers (and camera-ready copy for accepted papers) will be required to conform to the formatting guidelines of the series Conferences in Research and Practice in Information Technology. See the authors page at the CRPIT web site for detailed formatting information and hints. A sample Word style file, LaTeX style file and LaTeX document are available there.

Submission instructions

Papers must be submitted using the conference submission system by August 11, 2006. All papers must be submitted as an Adobe Acrobat compatible PDF file, in the specified CRPIT style. Any submissions sent in any other formats will not be accepted.

Note that we had some problems with the submission system on the final submission day, so we have extended the due date from Aug 21 to Aug 22 in case anyone had any problems. The submission system should be working now, if you see any error messages about disk space then please email us immediately.

The final deadline for submissions is now August 22, 2006!

If you would like to submit a video, you should contact the conference chairs at and provide a URL so the video can be downloaded. You can provide a video in any format you like, but MPEG-1 is recommended for maximum compatibility with the reviewer's computers.

Review process

Each paper will be fully refereed by an international Program Committee. Papers will be judged on originality, significance, correctness, and clarity. The contribution of the paper should be clearly explained in both general and technical terms.


Papers accepted for publication at AUIC will be published in a volume of CRPIT, and with an independent ISBN. Also, all papers accepted into AUIC will be archived in the ACM Digital Library, giving world-wide exposure to your work.
